The Mahadev Temple, also known as the Tambdi Surla Temple, is one of the oldest temples in Goa. The temple is oriented to the east, allowing the first rays of the sun to illuminate the deity within. A notable feature is the headless Nandi, Shiva’s vehicle, which sits in the mandap, surrounded by four elegantly designed columns. The temple’s inner sanctum houses a Shiv Linga, which is regularly adorned with local flowers, enhancing its spiritual ambiance
